Alex Diamond is a managing member and chair of our international industry team. His practice is concentrated on advising multinational businesses in corporate and commercial matters and regularly involves mergers and acquisitions, joint venture formations, distribution and agency agreements, and transnational dispute resolution.

His experience includes acting as lead US counsel to many foreign-owned companies from various industries, including tier 1 and 2 automotive suppliers, plastic molding, commercial knives, spirits label printer, industrial sensors, waste separators, gear drives, automotive safety technologies, coating equipment, machine tooling, and others.

Joe Brammer is a managing member of DBG and focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and general business and corporate law.

Joe has served as lead counsel in numerous merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions. He has substantial experience in representing buyers and sellers with the purchase and sale of both publicly traded and private companies. Joe has handled deals in a variety of industries and also has experience in private equity and joint venture transactions.

In his business and corporate law practice, Joe serves as outside legal counsel to a variety of different businesses, ranging from international companies to start-up ventures. He frequently advises companies on issues involving contract negotiations, business formations, choice-of-entity, capitalization, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, licensing matters, franchising opportunities and a variety of other business matters.

James Gammel is a managing member and represents and advises clients in a wide range of litigation areas with a focus on business litigation.

Since joining DBG, James has been actively involved in a variety of business litigation matters, including the areas of real estate, land use, construction, zoning, UCC, transportation, and complex commercial litigation. James has also tried numerous cases and successfully argued various motions at both the state and federal levels before Judges and Magistrates in Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Clermont, Greene, and Franklin Counties, Ohio. Additionally, James has drafted briefs for the First District Court of Appeals as well as the Supreme Court of Ohio.

James has also provided in-depth counseling and training on a wide array of employment law topics (e.g., the FMLA, the ADA, wage/hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge) and has assisted clients in drafting employee handbooks, employment forms, and confidentiality, non-compete, employment, and separation agreements.
